Kristen joined our team in 2016, and she has been in the dental field since 2014. She is passionate about helping people improve their smile confidence. She studied at Nashville State/Austin Peay State University, and learned dental assisting at the Daymar Institute. She is a state of Tennessee registered dental assistant, and Kristen has advanced training in coronal polishing, dental sealants, nitrous oxide monitoring, and CPR. A native of Johnsonville, TN, Kristen loves being outdoors especially hiking in the woods.
With more than three years of dentistry experience, Kimberly joined our office in 2016. She loves working with patients to develop the optimal level of oral health, and it’s always Kimberly’s goal to see patients who experience improved confidence when sharing their smiles with others. She earned her bachelor’s degree in pre-law at the City College of New York, and holds an associate’s of applied science in dental hygiene from the New York University College of Dentistry. She is also a registered hygienist and holds certifications in CPR and local anesthesia. Originally from Staten Island, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her tight-knit family. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, traveling, exploring, and doing arts and crafts projects.
Teresa has worked in the dental field since 2014, and she joined us in 2015. She loves having the opportunity to get to know our patients and help them make dental treatments fit their busy lifestyles. She is a big fan of the princess movies and know all the lines by heart. She enjoys painting, ice skating, and biking in her spare time. Teresa collects shells and sands from beaches around the world, and as part of her travels, she’s also become personally acquainted with three popes!
Jennifer has more than a decade of experience in dentistry, and she puts her expertise to work making our office efficient and comfortable. Patients love working with Jennifer, and it’s always her top priority to help them achieve their oral health goals. She attended San Jose State University. A native New Yorker, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, and fiancé who’s a soldier. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys eating out, singing karaoke, watching movies, and hiking. She considers herself a potato chip addict!
Christian comes to us all the way from Orlando, FL, and he brings nearly 20 years of dental experience to our practice. As a dental assistant, he loves getting the chance to work alongside dentists he respects like Dr. Chang. His favorite part about coming to work every day is helping patients smile again.
He is a graduate of the Ponce Paramedical College in Puerto Rico and is certified in both CPR and Invisalign. During his free time, he enjoys traveling, decorating, exploring the city, and indulging in anything Beyoncé.
Ligia wins the award for traveling the farthest to get to our practice; she’s originally from Acarigua, Venezuela! She is a graduate of the University of Carabobo in Valencia, and she just loves being a part of the great team here at Dental Serenity of Manhattan. Here, she feels like she’s able to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. Away from the office, she is very active in Crossfit and enjoys spending time with her family.
Destiny is new to the dental field and the Dental Serenity of Manhattan team. She loves getting to know new people and learning more about the dental field. Destiny studied at Radford University. A native of Virginia, she enjoys spending time with her funny and outgoing family. She loves eating, sleeping, and traveling almost as much as she loves her high heels. Destiny even does some modeling!
With nearly two decades of dental experience, Toni is a recent addition to the Dental Serenity of Manhattan team. She loves working with the team and patients to make sure the office is running smoothly. A native of Harlem, Toni studied at Bronx Community college. She is the oldest of nine children in a large, tight knit family. Toni loves that her family is always getting together, and she always has a best friend when she needs one. She also enjoys dancing, cooking, and participating in community outreach. Toni has participated in drives for diapers and back to school supplies. She is currently working on a project to provide hot meals for the homeless community in her neighborhood. Toni considers herself an activist and is very involved in community efforts and protests to ensure equality for all – no matter their race, creed, or religion.
